Who Are We

We are a team of radio professionals that work with PR agencies and brands across the UK providing Radio Days. In the last 3 years we have worked with some of the world’s biggest brands providing some great content and securing coverage on some of the UK's favourite radio stations.

Chris Brooks and Jonny Baker established the company in 2012. Chris is an on air presenter for stations including Capital FM London and the Heart network across the UK. Jonny comes from a producers background having produced shows for LBC, BBC 5 Live and the world service. So you're in good hands.

Recent projects include:

Blue Cross - We work with Pet Charity Blue Cross on a regular basis to help create awareness of the work they do. Great subjects for BBC Radio's target audience.

Lighterlife - Another brand we work with every year. On this project, diet company Lighterlife, along with spokespeople Denise Welch and Dr Hilary Jones, were drawing attention to the current obesity problem in the UK, and how it can be overcome with not only the right diet but also the right mindset. We secured coverage on Talk Radio, Virgin Radio, BFBS, and many BBC stations.

WWF - The Wildlife charity asked us to work with them on their Earth Hour initiative. We ran a very successful Radio campaign reaching the likes of The BBC and Sky News Radio, giving us a combined weekly audience of 36 Million people.

Our Services.

Our team of journalists and presenters will re write your copy to specifically target radio stations. It's all about relevant content for radio stations, we have to find the right angle that journalists and producers can use on air. We can also advise you on the right spokesperson for your radio day.

  • Radio Day Full Package


    Get heard – have a spokesperson or celebrity available, and we’ll organise a “Radio Day” of interviews with BBC and Commercial radio stations, both national and regional across the UK. This price includes re-writing the press release for radio, selling in to the stations, organising the day and the radio studio costs.

    In addition to this, we will also run an interview ourselves and sell this in to the smaller stations for later pick up. There will be a Radio PR representative looking after the day, and monitoring the campaign. We will provide you with the audio coverage, along with a complete breakdown on completion.

    THE GUARANTEE – a combined reach of 1 million listeners, or your next radio day is free of charge.

  • Local/Regional Sell Full Package


    This is ideal if you are only selling into a specific region, and you are looking for complete coverage. It covers Regional/Local radio, Regional/Local TV, Regional/Local print and geo-targeted social media.
    We will re-write the press release using the local breakdowns, to create content for print, radio, TV and social media, and sell in to these outlets. Unlike the full radio day packages these do not include the “Radio Day” of interviews, it’s a straight news sell in. However, and is often the case, if stations ask for an interview we are happy to arrange, or pass onto your team to organise. We will monitor the campaign and give you a full breakdown after completion..
    THE GUARANTEE – a pre agreed reach (dependent on area), or your next project is free of charge.
  • Local Radio Sell In Package

    We will re-write your press release as radio copy and sell in to local radio stations.
    We will forward any interview requests to your team and monitor the campaign supplying you with a full report on completion..

Meet Our Team

    Chris Brooks


    Chris started Radio PR in 2012 after leaving London’s Capital FM where he presented shows for 8 years.

    He is still presenting on stations across the UK and regularly on Radio Essex in his home town.

    Chris’ involvement in Radio over the years means he has a great understanding of what works and what doesn’t work on UK Radio and has a real insight into the kind of content radio stations are looking for.

    Jonny Baker


    Jonny started his Radio career as a producer with LBC in London, working on shows that included Nick Ferrari, Ken Livingstone and David Mellor.

    He then moved to the BBC where he produced on stations such as Radio 4, 5live and the World Service.

    Ash Hurlock


    Ash has been with us since 2013.

    He has worked in broadcast most of his working life, mainly within commercial radio..

    Ash looks after the Radio Days making sure the interviews are happening, liaising with the producers and making sure that the spokesperson knows everything they need to know.

    Pat Bate


    Pat works on commercial production for our parent company Ear Candy Radio, he makes all the radio adverts and jingles that we produce.

    He also edits up all the audio from our Radio Days

    Rose looks after all of the admin for us and our parent company Ear Candy Radio.

    Lee is a recent addition to the team.

    Lee looks after the sell in process with Chris and the team.

    He makes sure that every station has been contacted and that they know about the stories that we are running.
